A: Any show in the TV_Vote Top 40 that reaches a quarter of a million votes (250,000) achieves the unique honor of being permanently placed in the TV_Vote Fan Power Hall of Fame.

Q: "If the point of the TV_Vote poll is to find The Best 5 TV Shows of All Time, why do you need a Hall of Fame?"

A: Ah, but this isn't just any old Hall of Fame, boys and girls. This is the TV_Vote Fan Power Hall of Fame, specifically dedicated to loyal fans and fan groups who can prove their fan power by sticking to it long enough to reach an amazing quarter of a million votes in our poll. Think of it as an extra incentive, like giving out a special achievement Emmy? or Golden Globe?.

Q: "If you start retiring shows at a certain number, eventually all shows will get there. Once everybody gets there, what will really show off the power of the fan bases?"

A: Getting into the TV_Vote Fan Power Hall of Fame won't retire a show from our Top 40 List. If a fan group is looking for a place to lay off, so be it, but we aren't proposing to take away a show's position on the Top 40 List when it hits a quarter of a million votes. The TV_Vote Fan Power Hall of Fame will only acknowledge the achievement. And we do think our Hall of Famers will be a pretty exclusive group. (Prove us wrong!) Personally, I loved Greg the Bunny but I really don't expect it to hit our Top 40 in my lifetime. (No offense, Greg and Jimmy.)
